‘So here we are at the beginning of Lent, the Springtime of the Church, when the spring cleaning requires us to see what grime, accumulated dirt is stopping the Light from radiating or indeed whether we need a bulb replacement to ‘let His little light shine'”. I envisioned and was captured by an image of a golden Church, caught in the golden sun amongst green and beautiful English fields – forever England – and eyes to see the golden radiance of GOD in my morning walks, the starkness of an Autumn-Winter slumbering tree sparkling out against a dark and stormy sky. His radiance is everywhere … if only we have the eyes to see.
